The Aspen Nor-Am's were excellent preparation for the upcoming WC on Sunday here in Beaver Creek! I finished 5th and 2nd with pretty ok runs which gave me a better confidence for my racing speed after the troubled opening in Sölden. I tried out some things on the races, made a few mistakes but all in all it was a good two days and I'm happy I raced even though it was tough and heavy races!
Drove over to Beaver Creek last night and today I'm resting so I'm fresh on Sunday! There's not too much snow here although the race hill looks perfect, from the finish area we are shuttled to the nearest chair lift since there's not enough snow to ski there!
